5 Tips For Better Productivity
5 Tips For Better Productivity
Managing your time and turning up your productivity is essential to having a thriving business.
Creating content is a required part of the equation. Working smart is necessary.
1. Repurpose your Content. If you produce 1 blog post each week, then stop and repurpose it into Social Media post for the week, as well as creating a newsletter article on the same topic. Stop making things harder on yourself, by creating all new content. Here’s a typical weekly schedule example of Repurposing Your Content:
Create 1 LinkedIn Post
1 Instagram Post
1 Instagram Story
1 Email Campaign or Newsletter
7 Twitter Tweets
3 Facebook Posts
7 Pinterest Pins
1 Video for YouTube
2. Be better at not overbooking yourself. Leave some time in your schedule between appointments every single day. This way if meetings, Zoom calls go over, you’ll have a little buffer to get ready for the next call. And…you won’t have to always be apologizing for being late to your next meeting/appointment.
3. Create Productive, Positive habits. Build regularity into your work and make sure the critical tasks are getting done every day. Get some assistance, from a VA, if there are necessary things that you could hand off and make more time for you to do the important things in your business. Also, limit your Social Media scrolling, reading every single news item, and take scheduled regular breaks during your work day.
4. Pay Yourself First. Your time is valuable so pick a good number that works for you and calculate an hourly wage as a rough target and put it into your bank account each week, or month. Then evaluate if you can afford to get some assistance with tasks, projects, and daily duties.
5. Take time for you! You work hard, and you should play harder. Know your limits and realize that even a go-getter like you needs down time. Take a vacation, or at least a day off. Have lunch or dinner with a friend. Go shopping with your adult children. See a movie or play and do something-anything-other than work.
